Finding the right mattress can mean the difference between another sleepless night and waking up refreshed.
Everyone loves getting a good night’s sleep. This may sound obvious, but the bed you have makes more of a difference than you might think. Do you already have an adjustable bed? Or are you thinking of getting one for the first time? Finding the right mattress can mean the difference between another sleepless night and waking up refreshed.
Memory Foam
Memory foam relieves pressure on your joints. If this is why you have trouble sleeping, then you will be able to find relief. This foam is both flexible and responsive, which is why it is so popular. If you want a mattress to go with your adjustable bed, then you can’t go wrong with memory foam. Adjustable bases could have odd curves and angles which memory foam can match up with. It provides plenty of cushioning and support, and that could be enough to sway your decision.
Innerspring
You might prefer an innerspring mattress. And that’s okay! Just be aware that they might not be the best fit for your adjustable bed. You might end up feeling more pressure and stiffness, which isn’t good when you’re trying to relax. Plus, foam mattresses are just more comfortable to recline on. Here’s something else to think about: the coil matrix hidden inside the innerspring will move and bend more often, which means that it will need to be replaced much sooner than you would like.
Hybrid
Side sleepers and back sleepers enjoy the comfort of a hybrid mattress. However, they aren’t a great match for adjustable beds. Hybrids do better than innerspring mattresses in this respect, but you might find that it’s still too rigid or stiff for your liking. Plus, it can still wear down too quickly, and you don’t want that to happen! Here’s a surprise: certain innerspring and hybrid mattress manufacturers do make mattresses that will work with an adjustable bed. However, this isn’t very common. Still, if you are willing to compromise, you can probably find the right kind of mattress to meet your needs and still stick within your budget. In the end, it could be the right decision to go with either memory foam or latex.
